The new cloud-based product, which requires the new version of Enterprise, WoodWing’s multi-channel publishing solution, enables publishers to monitor and steer their production for print, online and digital content. Essentially, it will allow newsrooms the ability to see on the backend how much work they are putting into a particular article and ultimately how that article is received by its audience.
Publishers can access detailed real-time visual reports on the status of their production processes – at any time, from any location and from any device.
The company also announced recently that its has launched a new business unit called WoodWing Digital Services, based in Malaysia, to support publishers with consulting and offshoring production in their digital publishing activities.
WoodWing also is presenting the new version 5 of its digital asset management solution, Elvis DAM, that the company says is equipped to handle up to one billion digital assets.
In addition, WoodWing announced at Expo that it has expanded its global network of experienced authorised solution partners effective immediately, adding Blanchard Systems as new partner in North America.
Blanchard Systems is the developer of SendMyAd, a web-based interactive ad portal, as well as Virtual Publisher for book planning and production. The team also offers virtual infrastructure solutions based on VMware and comprehensive customised support services. Blanchard Systems and WoodWing already share joint customers including Time Inc, Hearst USA, and Meredith, to name a few.
