ppi Media says OM will not only benefit the group’s two daily newspapers, the Nürnberger Nachrichten and Nürnberger Zeitung, but will also be used for third-party print products. The project is scheduled to start in November and will go live in spring 2015.
“We want to prepare our printing and publishing house for future challenges together with a reliable partner. OM is exactly the right tool for this,” says Michael Bendel, operating manager of the Verlag Nürnberger Presse Druckhaus Nürnberg.
Verlag Nürnberger Presse Druckhaus already uses ppi Media's PlanPag, AdPag and ProPag in its workflow.
In the course of optimising the prepress workflow, OM will be fully integrated in the existing ppi systems. In a second step, the publisher intends to install OM portal as well, a web-based solution for integrating external orders in its existing OM workflow.
