Better quality for wider webs with Air Bustle Device II

Q.I. Press Controls is introducing the Air Bustle Device II, a new contact-free fan-out control device that is installed between the printing units to compensate the fan-out effect by lifting the web with a flow of compressed air. One of its most interesting features is the low air consumption of 20 litres per minute.

Jaco Bleijenberg, Director of International Sales, says: “We use the World Publishing Expo to show that QIPC is an innovative company that is dedicated to the newspaper industry. Our automation products help the printing companies to reduce their cost by saving on ink, paper and labour. Our investment calculations show that the ROI for our systems is often as short as one to two years, depending on the number of productions.”
